The Planmeca Viso systems have been designed with large flat panel sensors that utilize four built-in cameras for advanced diagnostic imaging technologies such as Planmeca ProFace®, which combines CBCT imaging, 3D facial photos and digital impressions creating a virtual patient. Additionally, Planmeca Viso offers Planmeca 4D™ Jaw Motion technology which captures mandibular jaw motion in real-time for advanced imaging of the condyles for TMD treatment planning.
Freely Positionable Field of Views
Each large flat panel sensor contains four built-in cameras for live patient positioning and freedom in selecting the area of interest. Clinicians can also capture 3D facial photos without the use of radiation.

Movement during CBCT acquisition occurs in 21-43% of scans2. Planmeca CALM eliminates patient movement providing clear, diagnostically valuable images even on patients who find standing still a challenge.

Our Planmeca Viso™ CBCT imaging family now consists of two models – both units are capable of 3D imaging, as well as panoramic, extraoral bitewing, and cephalometric imaging.
Two models
Our practice is an advanced TMD/ Facial Pain Center. We also provide comprehensive dental services which include restorative procedures, implants and endodontic work. So, we needed a versatile system with large and small volume sizes. After a thorough research process, we decided to acquire the new Planmeca Viso™ G7. It offered the flexibility we required as well as advanced imaging critical for our unique needs. Two of those are the Planmeca ProFace™ technology and Planmeca 4D™ Jaw Motion technology.
