5 Ways CBCT can take your Orthodontic treatment planning to the next level

Why is 2D not enough?  Because it doesn’t allow appropriate evaluation of important anatomical structures needed for proper diagnostics and treatment planning.  The importance of CBCT use for orthodontics purposes is found in the following areas: Anterior/Posterior tooth movement, Transverse tooth movement, Alveolar housing considerations during alignment, TSAD location evaluation, and Orthognathic surgical planning.  Airway, superimpositions, TMJ, tooth morphology, and oral pathology are other areas where CBCT is beneficial and these will be discussed as well.
