Topic: 3D Dentistry Roadmap: Paradigm Shift Ahead

CBCT imaging has been primarily considered an integral part of the guided implant surgical process. However, with the availability of ultra-low-dose imaging, 3D radiology is now a fundamental tool for routine diagnostics in general dentistry. When you understand how ultra low dose 3D imaging can sustain image quality and provide less radiation compared to traditional 2D digital radiography, there is no question that a paradigm shift is coming.

Topics include:

  • The new 3D PA (periapical)
  • Diagnostic applications for 3D imaging, including endodontics and orthodontics
  • A prosthetically-driven, all digital workflow for implant placement and restoration that is more efficient and profitable

Topic: Evolve With Digital Dentistry - A pragmatic approach to integrating new technology

A common misconception is that practitioners have to change the dentistry they do to go digital. Nothing could be further from the truth. Going digital allows practitioners to do exactly what they’re doing now, just faster and with better outcomes for patients. At the same time, it allows them to plug into the digital age of dentistry, giving them access to digital workflows that facilitate comprehensive dentistry in ways that conventional workflows can’t match.

Topics include:

  • Intraoral scanning and CBCT - “disruptive” technologies that don’t have to be disruptive at all
  • Digitally-fabricated restorations and their evolution into the “go to” option for restorative dentistry
  • How “going digital” plugs you in to EVERYTHING we do in dentistry today, from diagnosis and treatment planning, to smile design, endodontics, ortho, airway management, and dental implants
